History and Activity
At the beginning of its activity, the company was engaged in the cultivation of grapes for the production of wine (Merlot, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio), which it sold to other wineries, such as Castel Mimi, DAC Winery, etc. The first bottles of wine made under its own brand were released in 2016. Currently, the winery offers dry white, red and rosé wines, obtained from grapes harvested and selected by hand. Before bottling, the product is stored in stainless steel containers.
The winery's vineyards are located on an area of 4 hectares, on a southern slope with south-western exposure, which is part of a place called Dealul Țiglăului. In the immediate vicinity there is a village forest, that brings aromas of acacia, linden and various forrest flowers.
Nearby, there is a hydroelectric power plant that separates the villages of Vadul-Leka and Cazanesti. It functioned from 1954 to 1967, providing electricity to four villages. The image of the plant can be seen on the winery's bottles, since it is considered a symbol of the region.
