The event will be held online, on virtual-fairs.md platform, and its goal is to familiarize an audience without borders with the products and services offered by local producers, as well as to establish new business contacts.

In the virtual showroom, each SME will be presented with a personalized virtual booth, and visitors will have the opportunity to learn more information about companies, products and services with one click, to interact directly with representatives of each enterprise and schedule B2B meetings (video and audio).

The conference hall offers those who have registered to take part in the exhibition the opportunity to participate in one of the events included in the Business program, or to expand their network by entering the B2B zone.

Participants will also have the opportunity to communicate directly from the virtual stand with national and foreign visitors, whose participation will be ensured thanks to the cooperation that the organizers have established with several partners both at home and abroad.

All types of small and medium-sized enterprises from the Republic of Moldova are invited to take part in this virtual exhibition.
Exhibition stages:
- April 9 - May 31, 2021 - registration of participants on the platform;
- June 1 - June 16 - schedule of B2B meetings (bilateral meetings will take place exclusively from June 15-18, 2021);
- June 3 - June 18, 2021 - the opportunity to visit the stands in the exhibition hall.

According to the National Bureau of Statistics, in 2019 the number of small and medium-sized enterprises amounted to 55.9 thousand - about 98.6% of the total number of enterprises in Moldova, which means that small and medium-sized enterprises are the pillars of the economy, and in the current context, when exhibitions and fairs can no longer be physically organized; this kind of online platforms are the best solution. All economic agents from the Republic of Moldova, who will take part in the virtual exhibition "SMExpo 2021", will have the opportunity to get their participation fee back under the "Program for promoting the participation of economic agents in fairs and exhibitions" managed by ODIMM.
