The company is specialized in manufacturing of biodegradable cords for garter vineyards, shrubs, seedlings and vegetables. For the manufacturing of the cord there are used organic materials: low-carbon steel annealed wire and cellulose craft paper. During one season, the metal corrodes, making it easier for the garter to fall off the plant or crop. Then, the metal and the paper decompose in the soil and fertilize it, without any negative effects on the environment.

In the Soviet years, the Tiraspol Metal Plant used to manufacture cords using this technology. About 10 years ago, the plant went bankrupt and Frutex company bought the equipment and set up the production process anew.
