The history of the company started 4 generations ago in Gogu family. The founder, Ilie Gogu, is a winemaker who embodied the dream of his ancestors into reality. After he headed the family business, the winemaker invested heavily in vines and technology to get quality craft wines.

Before founding his family business, Ilie made extensive researches in the field of winemaking and continued with 10 years of experience as a chief technologist at one of the largest winemaking companies in Moldova.

Ilie is involved in the whole process of wine production, from planting vineyards and grapes to bottling. He checks every stage of production, seeking to get a high-quality product.

The vineyards of the company are located in the most favorable wine-making region of Moldova, the south-eastern part of the country. Each year, the company increases the surface of its vineyards and specializes in the production of selected, high-quality and exclusive wines. For this reason, the number of bottles produced is usually limited.

The wines of Ilie Gogu were highly appreciated by national and international experts, receiving gold medals at various contests and exhibitions.
