The company's name: Lapmol - comes from two words LAPte and MOLdovenesc, which means Moldovan milk.

It currently has 450 employees (in Chisinau, at the the factory in Calarasi and the butter factory in Lipcani).

In addition to producing dairy products, Lapmol is the official distributor of several international renowned brands, including Danone products. Partnership with Danone Romania started in 2000. Currently, Lapmol maintains close partnership relations with Danone Romania and Danone Ukraine, being an exclusive distributor of them in Moldova.
