As part of the Drumul Fructelor campaign, we manage to combine business with pleasure and discover the most unusual fruits that grow in Moldova. Although due to unfavorable weather we canceled this trip twice, eventually the project Madein.md and the association Pomuşoarele Moldovei from the third attempt, were able to visit the chokeberry (aronia) plantation. Thus, on August 10, in the afternoon, we finally managed to try the slightly tart taste of this berry.
We were greeted with berries pie and jam by the entrepreneur Aneta Ganenko, who owns the business called "MoBerry".
Durin our visit we learned how aronia is grown, what useful properties it has are and how it should be consumed. Here is a photoreport made by our team on the plantation.
