Bread, oils, fruits and vegetables, natural cosmetics, as well as other ecological products delighted visitors on October 4, at the first event within the framework of the IarmarEco Caravan, that took place in Chisinau. In addition to food and handicrafts, visitors could recycle electronic and plastic waste, get free advice on organic farming, exchange books, and take pictures in the photo zone. Children had the opportunity to take part in a workshop for painting cans and bottles.

Event organizers stated that in this challenging year, IarmarEco strives to support small local producers by providing them a space to promote and sell their products, at the same time encouraging local and responsible consumption among the population.

For overall safety, the distance between the booths was increased, exhibitors received reusable masks made from recycled material, and disinfectant was available at the entrance to the park as well as on exhibitor tables.

IarmarEco - the Fair for Environmental Opportunities and Social Entrepreneurship is organized for the eighth year, but for the first time it takes place in the form of a caravan in several regions of the country. The caravan will continue in Rezina, on October 10, in the village of Sangereii Noi (Sangerei district), on October 14 and in Ialoveni, on October 17.
