Merlot de Purcari is like velvet – a soft touch with an impressive personality.
The wine was aged in French oak barrels for around 12 months;
The ruby red colour seduces with aromas of plums, tobacco and wood- smoke;
On the palate, the wine is well-balanced with plumy fruit notes and mellow tannins;
Fresh acidity and good length, with just a subtle hint of oak to be felt.
